Life's a Beach

After a long day in the office, it's nice to know I can drive over to my brother's place and workout by the beach. My favorite things to do is walk by the shore. It really helps me clear my mind and let's me forget about everything that I have going on.

This weekend I attended  an event my step-brother hosted for the 26th Annual Young Lawyer's Section Golf Tournament. It was a beautiful event that raised money for HANDY, Inc (Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth). Aside from the wonderful experience (and yummy food), here is what I wore to the event:

In honor of happy hour on Fridays (and Sex and the City), I decided to share one of my favorite go-to drinks after an exhausting day at work (did I also mention it's pay day? Woohoo!) 

I got this picture off of google which led me to the site rapgenius.com (no joke) and the recipe is from chow.com

1/2 oz. Cointreau orange liqueur or triple sec 

1 1/2 oz. vodka 

1/2 oz. lime juice 

3/4 oz cranberry juice 

Ice 

Disclaimer: I read a comment that said triple sec brings down the flavor so 

mix at your own risk!

Vintage

My favorite accessory would have to be my 1960's Asahi Pentax. I love taking this baby to places and taking random and awkward photos of my friends, people, or backgrounds. You will probably see a lot of photos from it once it gets developed. Aside from that vintage beauty, I got my fedora. It took me a long time to find the perfect one and it couldn't have been more suitable than to find it in Mykonos, Greece. It was love at first sight.
